How to design a Pretty Cure OC
A guide on how to design a Pretty Cure oc~ For all the Precure series.

1. Color
A very important thing to start with is picking a color for your oc. The color makes the outfit. You should find a color that matches the personality of your character (a calm and/or shy character won't wear a color like red or hot pink because that isn't a calm color). It's also important is that you use a color that hasn't been used yet. If you use a color that's already been used, you should use a different teint or mix it with another color to make it an original character.

2. Similarity in the outfits
In every Pretty Cure serie the characters outfits have similarities. This means that every cure for these series, has these same characteristics. If you make a design, it's important to use these characteristics. Otherwise it will look like your oc doesn't belong in the series. Using the characteristics makes your character look more official and real. You don't have to use them all, but some of the standards are a must. 3. Difference in the outfits
The differences in outfits are mostly found in the things such as; hair accesoires, shoes & in the sleeves. However, this is different in every Pretty Cure series. When thinking of difference, think about what kind of character your oc has. A wild and playful Precure wouldn't wear a long skirt or long sleeves. A shy Precure wouldn't wear a costume with a midriff. Think of what type of clothes your oc would wear. It'll help a lot with your design ideas.

4. Name
Name time for your Pretty Cure OC. Every season has another theme for the names. The name should match both the theme and the color of the cure. Such as Cure Sunshine having a yellow outfit and Cure Aqua having a blue outfit. Beneath you find the themes that are used for the cure names for the series.
